Todays makeup! Chaldean wedding

It was such a beautiful day for a wedding in san diego, 72 degrees, the sun was out and there was a perfect breeze! Wedding season has officially started! I got to work with some beautiful clients today that were going to a chaldean wedding. Middle eastern makeup is definetely on my top 5 favorite styles, you get to be colorful, creative and ofcourse, smokey!
Enjoy XOX

On Chanel I used All MAC shadows: Copperplate on the lid using a 242, smoked out with wedge using a 217 and carbon on the outer corner with a flat brush pressing it on then blended with a 224 or 217 I applied a layer of painterly paint pot (ALWAYS) under her eye then used carbon with a 266 and blended it out with copperplate on a 219. Milani liquid eye pencil liner on waterline. Double Winged out liner is wet n wilds black liquid and a little crystal avalanch in between the two wings. Soar lipliner and creamcup lipstick with eclair gloss by NYX.

On Jessica we wanted to go for a bronzey smokey eye with a dramatic winged liner, I used All MAC shadows: dazzlelight as the inner corner highlight and under the brow, soft brown in the crease with a 224, embark in the outer v using the same method above, silk stocking on her lid (limited color) using a 242, carbon on the outer corner to make it more dramatic, rose gold pigment from mac pro dusted on the outer half of the lid with reflects bronze glitter on top, another MAC pro product. Carbon under her eye using a 266 blended with embark and a 219 pencil brush. Milani liquid eye pencil liner in the waterline. Wet n wild liquid liner. Lips arent as pigmented because I took this picture later but we put on boldly bare lipliner with cream cup lipstick.

Megan was wearing a bright purple dress so we wanted to incorporate that color without being too much, So I used All MAC shadows: Naked pigment on the lid with a 242, soft brown in the crease using a 224 or 217, embark on outer corner blended with deep damsom like above, which is a MAC pro store exclusive, wet n wild liquid liner on top and milani liquid eye pencil liner on waterline. Craving mixed with honeylove on her lips and absolutely it lipliner.
On Tania I used all MAC shadows: Texture in the crease with a 224, carbon in the outer corner same technique as above, extra silver shadow by in extra dimension collection from MAC, with reflects pearl glitter and 3d glitter MIXED (MAC pro) I used ELF lock and seal to help it sick by applying a thing layer after the shadow, just patting it on and then using a dry flat brush like the 252 to lightly pat it on top. Wet n wild liner on top and milani liquid eye pencil on bottom waterline. Lady danger lipstick and pro longwear lipliner in kiss me quick.

Prom Makeup!

Prom season is here, one of the most important days of senior year, and one of the most fun! Picking the perfect dress, shoes, and a makeup style to go with it! I think a lot of times girls think "oh my dress is purple and pink so my makeup should be too!" which may not be the best choice, not saying you shouldnt but dont be too critical of finding the exact shade of teal as your dress, it doesnt have to match perfectly to look good! If you have a colorful dress that has more than one vibrant color in it maybe pick ONE to incorporate with your makeup. I always love a bright lip, however it doesnt look so cute with blue eyeshadow. I ALWAYS suggest hiring a makeup artist to take care of it but in case you can't, below Im going to attach a few ideas and list how I did them, hope this helps! Im still new to the blog thing XOX

Soft smokey eye: I used all MAC: Naked pigment on the lid, saddle in the crease, carbon on outer corner, blended with brown script. This look goes with ANYTHING and its beautiful!
Teal sparkly smokey eye: for the more dramatic, this look is beautiful! I think the secret to such colorful eyes is keeping it mainly below that crease! I used all MAC: Aquadisiac on lid, soft brown in crease, plumage on outer corner with carbon, and reflects teal glitter on top. She also wanted color on her lips so I chose a Peach since It wont look like too much with such dramatic eyes. This would be beautiful if you have a teal, turquoise or mint colored dress and want to coordinate.

Chocolate brown eyes with bright lips: Inspired by kourtney kardashian, I used all MAC: uninterupted prolong eyeshadow in the crease with saddle, deeply dashing pressed pigment on the lid and carbon with embark on outer corner. Lady danger on her lips, style blush. Love this look with a black dress.

Glowy purple eyes: soft yet noticeable, with a peachy lip! I used all MAC: Beautiful iris on the lid, digit as her inner corner highlight, soft brown in the crease, shadowy lady in the outer corner, peaches on her cheek as the blush, shy girl lipstick, spice lipliner and love nector gloss. This would be gorgeous with a purple or peach colored dress!
